Faux Water Colored Beachy Candle

Hello and Welcome to the Art Impressions and Tombow USA Blog Hop!

You probably got here from Cheri Burry but if you stumbled across my blog go the Art Impressions’ Blog to start!

Now on to my project!

Here's what you need:
Tombow USA Dual Brush Pens - Primary set and Soda Shop set.
Tombow USA Xtreme Permanent Adhesive.
Art Impressions Unmounted Trifolds #4577 Beach TF set.

Clearsnap Top Boss Embossing InkColorBox® Embossing PowderAcrylic Stamp Block, Heat Tool, Velum, Ruler, Pencil, Paper Trimmer, Glass Vase, Sand, Candle, Plain Computer Paper, Sheet of Craft Foam.

Here's how to make it:
Place craft foam on work surface, then place velum on top.  TIP: I use craft foam under my stamping projects to get a solid impression.  Using embossing ink, stamp Each of the Art Impressions Trifolds Beach set on velum.  Sprinkle on black embossing powder.  Tap off excess onto plain paper, fold paper in half and return to original container.  Set embossing powder with heat tool.

Flip stamped velum over and color in images with Tombow USA Dual Brush pens from the Soda Shop and Primary sets.  Shade using Cool Grey N65.

Measure glass vase and trim velum to fit.

Apply a line of Tombow Xtreme Permanent Adhesive to one short end of velum and attach to vase.

Fill vase with sand and a candle.  Accent with shells collected on vacations to the beach to create a memorable vignette.

When lit, the candle glows through the colored velum with warm brilliance!

Now on to the fun stuff - PRIZES!
